There has been a lot of controversy recently about so-called ‘dangerous dogs’. Politicians have vied, surprisingly perhaps in a nation of animal lovers to crack down on canines. Home secretary Alan Johnson has recently proposed a program of draconian anti-dog legislation. Amongst over things owners would be required to purchase insurance to cover the eventuality that their pet mauls someone.

In the discussion over dogs, not all breeds are equal. The scapegoats of the canine world have long been the ‘Bull’ breeds. Dogs such as the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and, especially in America the Pitbull have earned a reputation for being fearsome beasts with their muscular bodies and powerful locking jaws. In the UK being suspected of being part Pitbull carries the sentence of death. Well it seems that the dogs of the world are mad as hell, and that they are not going to take it anymore. For the evidence, take a look at this clip:

As you can see the beast manages to rip the re-enforced bumper, that would be used to ram the cars of miscreants off the road, clean off. It is a long clip, and shows a sustained attack. The law may be being turned against pooches but on this dog day afternoon the boot is clearly of the other paw.

So what does this mean for the two-legged denizens of the World? Well, one thing is for certain if you are a law-dog planning a vacation to Europe you’d better fix yourself up with extra insurance with your car hire. France is fantastic but you don’t want your car to catch rabies!
