Previously I have told you about strange things in the sky. Today I bring you news of strange things falling OUT of the sky. In Australia’s Northern territory it has rained fish – for two consecutive nights! You can read the story posted on a respected Aussie news site here. No details were given as to the exact type of fish that fell from the sky. The fish were described as “small and white”. There is a picture on the original story. It is not very exiting, just some small white fish in a bucket. I couldn’t find a video of raining fish so here is a video of Slayer performing “Raining Blood”.

So how common is it for fish to fall from the sky? More common than you might think actually. Recent occurrences include Norfolk England in 2000 where Sprats were said to have rained down on the resort town of Great Yarmouth. There have incidences reported throughout history. Whether these can be believed, or whether they are the product either of hoaxes or the other active imaginations of simple minded rural types has been the subject of debate. There is some science that suggests that there could be means that this phenomena could occur. Is this more climate change news? Perhaps actually – but does it prove that it is happening and that we are all about to die or that we are being taken for a giant ride by climate conmen? Let the debate begin.
