This blog has so far mainly been about the news stories I see that I find interesting. I would like to broaden it out some, because I am about much more than just reading the papers! OK well not that much more. I do have something of a life though, and every now and again I like to get away from it. To that end yesterday I booked myself a little holiday in Spain.

I chose to book my flights with a well known budget airline with a predilection for the colour orange. All relatively painless, but when you get past passengers, dates, luggage, etc you get bombarded with offers for their affiliate companies offerings Hotels and car rental. It nearly worked as well, I honestly had not considered hiring a car for while I was in Spain but I found myself scanning the list of available models.

Pretty quickly my brain caught up with me and I realised that, though quite cheap compared to the last time I rented a vehicle, in order to get me about I didn’t need Spotify to see if I could find any audio materials to help this gringo out.

I found something amazing. Whether it is good amazing or bad amazing I will let you judge for yourself. The particular audio I found was called “Subliminal Learn Spanish”. If you would like to check it out you can do so here. It’s pretty messed up to tell you the truth. The first track is just ocean noises, but you can hear this very faint whispering just about. I listened to it a few times, I don’t know if it is helping me yet though. I will write again and let you know how I got along on the ground.
