Great Britain will have a new government. The media is full of electioneering, and the politicians love it. Whether those who are not standing for office view the topic with such gusto is doubtful. Most people probably have decided who they are going to vote for, and all the efforts to change their minds will serve only to wind them up. It is of course a significant time though, with the distinct possibility of a change in personnel running the country ousting figures who have become part of the political furniture of this country.

One of the main debates over the past couple of weeks has been of the issue of national insurance contributions. All sides of the debate conspired to make it as uninteresting as possible for the voters. The boss of Marks and Spencer, spoke out in favour of Cameron’s position though. Way back in the conference season Samantha Cameron was in the news for wearing a dress from that retailer. There was also some debate about whether it was a suitable choice.

Related to this, a picture has emerged depicting how the Conservative leader himself might look should he choose to sport garments from the same collection. In fact there are high-tech mock ups of both Gordon Brown and David Cameron wearing dresses from the range.

Quite fetching. But regardless of who will fair better on election day it is clear that it is Gordon Brown who would be ahead in the fashion stakes should he chose to adopt this new look.

Some might claim that these pictures are in slightly dubious taste. They should be thankful that it is dresses and not lingerie that the leaders were added to.
